Purposes of personal data processing

a) Ticket sales for Festival Ljubljana

Both data controllers collect personal data during the purchase process on https://www.eventim.si/top-events/?affiliate=S1J&sort=DateAsc. The personal data of the buyer being processed includes: name and surname, email address, telephone number, ticket type, payment details, and age. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation), which you enter into with the joint controllers by accepting the General Terms and Conditions when purchasing tickets. The processing of the aforementioned data is necessary for the completion of the ticket purchase process.

Thirty days after the completion of the event, each of the joint controllers processes the personal data as an independent controller for its own purposes: pursuing or defending legal claims arising from the contract for participation in the event (for a period of 5 years from the conclusion of the contract), and fulfilling its tax obligations of each controller (for a period of 10 years from the payment of the tickets).

b) Informing ticket purchasers about the event

Both controllers process your personal data, collected during the ticket purchase process, for the purpose of regularly informing ticket purchasers prior to the event about unforeseen circumstances such as event cancellation, a change of date, or a change of location. You will receive these notifications via the email address provided during the ticket purchase process.

The legal basis for this data processing is the fulfillment of the sale and purchase agreement. The processing of personal data is required for the performance of contractual obligations; for example, if you do not receive information about a change of date or location, you may be unable to attend the event.

c) Direct marketing

Thirty days after the event, each data controller will continue processing the personal data independently, in accordance with Article 226/II of the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), for the purpose of sending notifications regarding their own events and services via email. If you do not wish to receive such notifications, you can unsubscribe by using the link that is always included in the emails from each controller.

Retention period

a) Event participation: 5 years for event participation, 10 years for ticket payment

b) Direct marketing: until consent is withdrawn. Sent communications are retained for 1 year.

Recipients of personal data and any potential transfer of personal data to third countries

In certain cases (such as sending event invitations or publishing on social media), we may also transfer your personal data to a third country (outside the European Economic Area). Relationships with contractual processors, joint controllers, or controllers in these countries are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, or such processing is carried out in accordance with adequacy decisions issued by the Commission.
