By train: The Postojna railway station is located about 1 km from the Postojna Cultural Centre. From the station, you can either walk to the Cultural Centre (approximately a 15-minute walk) or take the Furman city bus.
By bus: Postojna is well connected by bus lines from various Slovenian cities. The Postojna bus station is also about 1 km from the Cultural Centre, which means around a 15-minute walk.
There are two free Furman city bus lines operating in Postojna:
Line 1: connects Kazarje, the Cultural Centre, Kremenca, and Stara vas. This line has a stop directly at the Cultural Centre.
Line 2: connects Veliki Otok, the Postojna Cave, Poljane, and the railway station. Although this line does not stop directly at the Cultural Centre, you can transfer to Line 1 or walk from the nearest stop to your destination.
From the direction of Ljubljana:
From Ljubljana, take the A1/E61 motorway in the direction of Koper.
After approximately 50 kilometers, take exit 41 for Postojna.
After the exit, follow the signs for the center of Postojna.
Once you reach the town center, follow the signs for Gregorčičev drevored 2a, where the Postojna Cultural Centre is located.
From the direction of the coast:
From Koper, take the A1/E61 motorway in the direction of Ljubljana.
After approximately 60 kilometers, take exit 41 for Postojna.
After the exit, follow the signs for the center of Postojna.
Once you reach the town center, follow the signs for Gregorčičev drevored 2a, where the Postojna Cultural Centre is located.
The nearest parking areas to the Postojna Cultural Centre are located at the following locations:
Gregorčič Avenue – parking spaces are located directly next to the Cultural Centre building.
Cankar Street – parking is available nearby and accessible on foot.
Tržaška Road – additional parking spaces are available on the section between the intersection at Hotel Kras and the intersection with Globočnik Street.
