Public transport
From Ljubljana:
There are direct bus lines between Ljubljana and Kranjska Gora, usually operated by Arriva.
Departures are several times a day from the Ljubljana Bus Station (AP Ljubljana).
The journey takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the number of intermediate stops.
It is recommended to get off at the "Kranjska Gora – center" bus stop.
From there, it is about a 5-minute walk to Vitranc Hall, located at Kolodvorska ulica 1.
From Jesenice:
There is no railway connection from Jesenice to Kranjska Gora, so the best option is to travel by bus.
Regular bus lines (Arriva) run several times daily between Jesenice and Kranjska Gora.
The ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
Buses usually depart from the Jesenice bus station, located directly next to the train station.
If you're traveling by train from other parts of Slovenia (e.g., from Maribor, Celje, Ljubljana), you can first take the train to Jesenice and then transfer to a bus to Kranjska Gora. The transfer is easy, as the stations are located next to each other.
Upon arrival in Kranjska Gora, get off at the "Kranjska Gora – center" bus stop.
By road
From Ljubljana:
From Ljubljana, take the A2/E61 motorway in the direction of Kranj/Jesenice/Karavanke.
Drive until the Lesce (Lesce–Bled) exit and leave the motorway there.
After the exit, follow the signs for Bled, then continue in the direction of Jesenice/Kranjska Gora.
The road passes through Bled, Radovna, Mojstrana, and then leads to Kranjska Gora.
Upon entering the town, follow the signs for the town center / Vitranc Hall.
Parking
Parking is available directly next to Vitranc Hall.
If the parking lot is full, the following nearby options are also available:
– Parking at the Main Square (in the center of Kranjska Gora)
– Parking near Hotel Kompas and Hotel Larix
