Seating chart booking

The EVENTIM Seating chart booking allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.

General admission

General admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General admission event, you may be quoted section, row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available.

Seat or standing ticket subject to availability

This price category mainly comprises seats, although this is not guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, you may receive a standing ticket for the same price. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee to fulfil specific wishes regarding seating or standing tickets. It is not possible to exchange the tickets you receive.

Currently not available

If an event, price level or ticket type is 'Not currently available' then all tickets in that category have been sold.

EVENTIM makes every effort to obtain more tickets so check our website regularly for updates.

Delivery not available

If the event is taking place a few days after you place your order, the option to have your tickets delivered via Standard mail will no longer be available. Depending on the event it may be possible to collect your tickets at the venue or print your tickets yourself using ticketdirect.

Only single seats available

In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other. It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the EVENTIM Seating chart booking.

Concessions

Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

Maribor Train Station is the main station in the city and is located about 800 meters from SNG Maribor. After exiting the station, head west along Partizanska Street, then turn left onto Slovenska Street. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the theatre.

By intercity bus:

The Maribor Bus Station is located in close proximity to the train station. After exiting the bus, follow the same route as for train arrivals: west along Partizanska Street, then left onto Slovenska Street.

By city bus:

City bus transport in Maribor is operated by the company Marprom. The nearest bus stop is "Slovenska – gledališče," located directly in front of SNG Maribor.

The following bus lines stop at this station:

Line 4: Limbuš – NC Supernova

Line 6: AP Mlinska – Vzpenjača

Line 18: Gosposvetska – Pekre

From Ljubljana (A1 Motorway):

Drive on the A1 motorway towards Maribor.

Take the Maribor – Center exit.

Continue along Ptujska Street, then Titova Street, following the signs for the city center.

Turn left onto Partizanska Street, then right onto Slovenska Street, where the theatre is located.

From Austria (Šentilj border crossing):

Take the A1 motorway towards Maribor.

Use the Maribor – East or Maribor – Center exit and follow the signs to the city center.

Parking directly next to SNG Maribor is not possible, as the theatre is located in a pedestrian zone. We recommend using one of the nearby parking options:

City Parking Garage (Center Tabor) – approximately a 5-minute walk.

Parking along Partizanska Street – designated parking spaces along the city’s main access road.

Public parking near Slomšek Square and Main Square – paid parking areas in the city center.

At the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, we ensure barrier-free access to the halls. This is made possible by wheelchair lifts and regular elevators. The Old Hall is equipped with an induction loop. Opera performances include subtitles in Slovene. When purchasing tickets, please inform us of any special requirements. For assistance during performances and concerts, please contact the ushering staff.
