Drive in the direction of Litija. In the center of Litija, turn right toward Šmartno pri Litiji. Continue through the town, following signs for Bogenšperk Castle. From Maribor:
Drive on the highway toward Ljubljana. Exit at Trojane and continue through Izlake and Zagorje ob Savi. Follow the signs for Litija, then turn toward Šmartno pri Litiji. In the village, follow the signs for Bogenšperk Castle. The distance from Šmartno pri Litiji to the castle is around 4.5 km. The parking lot is located right next to the castle.
From the south:
From the Dolenjska highway, take the exit for Ivančna Gorica. At the exit, you’ll already see signs for Bogenšperk Castle. Continue driving in the direction of the castle. The distance from Ivančna Gorica to the castle is about 16 km. Parking is available in a designated area in front of the castle.
