By train:

Ptuj has a railway station with connections to major cities such as Maribor and Ljubljana.

Once you arrive at Ptuj Railway Station, you can either walk to the monastery (about a 15-minute walk) or take a local taxi.

By bus:

The Ptuj Bus Station is located near the railway station, from where it's also approximately a 15-minute walk to the monastery.

From Maribor / A1 Motorway:

Drive on the A1 motorway in the direction of Ptuj.

Exit the motorway at the Ptuj–Center exit.

Continue on the regional road toward the city center.

Follow the signs for the old town / Ptuj Castle / Dominican Monastery.

Once you reach the old town, continue toward Muzejski Trg, where the monastery is located.

Parking at the Dominican Monastery / Muzejski Trg

This parking lot is located right next to the monastery or in its immediate vicinity.

The number of parking spaces is limited.

Parking is paid (city parking zone), though free parking is available during certain hours.

Parking at Minoritski Trg / Prešernova Street

Located about a 5-minute walk from the monastery.

This is a well-maintained and paid public parking area.

There are usually more available spaces here than directly at the monastery.

Parking by the Drava River (Rabelčja Vas / Novi Trg)

The parking lot is about a 7–10 minute walk away.

It offers a larger number of parking spaces and is suitable for longer visits.
