The Janez Trdina Cultural Centre (KCJT) is the main venue for cultural and congress events in Novo Mesto. It operates under the auspices of the Novo Mesto Institute, established by the Municipality of Novo Mesto.
KCJT offers a diverse program that includes theatre performances, music concerts, film screenings, and events for children such as puppet shows and workshops. It also hosts congresses, seminars, and exhibitions, making a significant contribution to the city’s cultural scene.
The center features a main hall with 366 seats, suitable for concerts, dance and theatre performances, film screenings, and conferences. Within the center, the Kocka Gallery also operates, intended for smaller events and exhibitions, accommodating up to 80 visitors.
