Choose the appropriate exit from the ring road based on your direction of arrival:

If arriving from the north or east, take the Ljubljana–Bežigrad exit.

If arriving from the south or west, take the Ljubljana–Center exit.

Follow the signs for the city center and continue toward the heart of Ljubljana.

Parking on the streets around the SNG Opera and Ballet is very limited, so we recommend using one of the nearby parking garages.

When planning your visit, please note that the SNG Opera and Ballet is located in the center of Ljubljana, where traffic is partially restricted. Parking nearby is available at several paid locations:

The closest parking is in the garage beneath Republic Square, right next to the building.

A little farther, but still just a short walk away, is the garage under Congress Square.

The parking garage on Trdinova Street is more distant, but still accessible on foot within a few minutes.

Parking spaces are also available on nearby streets under the city’s parking regime.

We recommend allowing some extra time for finding a parking spot to ensure a timely arrival for your event.
