Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Golden Fox 2027

Golden Fox is a traditional international women’s alpine skiing competition and one of Slovenia’s most recognisable winter sports events. The first edition was held in 1964 at Maribor Pohorje, and over the decades the competition became an important part of the Alpine Skiing World Cup. It has welcomed many of the world’s top female skiers, while successful Slovenian competitors, including Mateja Svet, Urška Hrovat and Tina Maze, hold a special place in its history.

Due to snow and weather conditions, the Golden Fox has moved between venues several times throughout its history, including to Kranjska Gora, which eventually became its permanent home. The Podkoren course now hosts top-level women’s World Cup races, attracting numerous fans and creating a distinctive sporting atmosphere.
