Zabranjeno pušenje

Zabranjeno Pušenje is a Bosnian rock band formed in 1980 in Sarajevo. Their music blends elements of garage rock, punk, and folk influences, and is known for its innovative production and complex storytelling. The band is closely associated with the New Primitivism movement and the satirical TV show Top lista nadrealista. Their debut album, Das ist Walter (1984), was initially released in a limited run but went on to sell over 100,000 copies — 30 times more than expected. Their second album, Dok čekaš sabah sa šejtanom (1985), faced media boycotts due to political controversy. After the group split during the Bosnian War, Sejo Sexon continued performing under the same name in Sarajevo, while Nele Karajlić founded The No Smoking Orchestra in Belgrade. The band released numerous albums, including Pozdrav iz zemlje Safari (1987), Male priče o velikoj ljubavi (1989), Fildžan viška (1997), Agent tajne sile (1999), Bog vozi Mercedes (2001), Hodi da ti čiko nešto da (2006), Muzej revolucije (2009), Radovi na cesti (2013), Šok i nevjerica (2018), and Karamba! (2022). The current lineup includes founding member, vocalist and guitarist Sejo Sexon, longtime drummer Branko Trajkov, guitarist Toni Lović, bassist Dejan Orešković, and violinist/keyboardist Robert Boldižar.
