Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie pop band formed in 2006 in Burlington, Ontario. The group is renowned for its innovative music videos and unique covers of popular songs, often featuring all members playing a single instrument simultaneously. Their viral 2012 cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," performed with all five members playing one guitar, garnered over 175 million views within four months and led to a record deal with Columbia Records.
The band's lineup includes Gianni "Luminati" Nicassio, Sarah Blackwood, Joel Cassady, and David "Tokyo" Speirs. They have released several albums, such as R.E.V.O.
