🍷 For 17 years, we've been crafting one of Slovenia's most remarkable wine stories.

The Wine Route in the Tunnels Beneath Old Kranj has become one of Slovenia's most renowned and best-attended wine festivals. Year after year, the event sells out as visitors return to experience an atmosphere unlike any other.

Over two weekends in November, more than 1,300 metres of tunnels, carved into former World War II shelters, are transformed into Slovenia's longest natural wine cellar. In a single extraordinary setting, you can explore the diversity of all three Slovenian wine-growing regions through the offerings of more than 60 winemakers and over 300 wines.

Upon arrival, every visitor receives a tasting glass, a glass carrier, and a shopping bag. If you plan to take home a selection of wines and local delicacies, we recommend bringing a backpack as well. Seasoned visitors know exactly why. 😉

One of the festival's highlights is the opportunity to taste wines and other local products before purchasing, meet the winemakers in person, and discover the flavours that suit you best.
