Tropico Band (Serbian: Тропико бенд) is a popular pop-folk group from Leskovac, Serbia, formed in 2002. The band consists of lead vocalist Aleksandar Cvetković – Brzi, keyboardists Marko Nedeljković and Predrag Pešić – Žuća, drummer Aleksandar Ilić – Prke, and guitarist Aleksandar Djordjić. They began their career as a club band in Belgrade, quickly becoming known for their high-energy performances, infectious charisma, and blend of pop and folk elements.
Their debut album, Al’ vredan, was released in 2006 under City Records, but they made their real breakthrough with their second album, Tropico Band (2009), which featured hits such as “Ti ne znaš,” “Bojim se,” “Zar ti?” and “Otisak.” Their songs often revolve around themes of heartbreak, inner conflict, and emotional struggle—with some of their most iconic tracks being “Paranoja,” “Misliću na tebe,” “Pitaš kako mi je,” and “Neko treći.”
In addition to two studio albums, they have released several greatest hits compilations, including The Best of Tropico Band (2014), Best of Tropico Band 2015, and the most recent Zlatna kolekcija (2025), which summarizes their biggest hits since the beginning of their career. Among their most streamed recent songs are “Paranoja,” “Sve moje zore,” “Zauvek tvoj,” and “Ako ti je do mene.”
In 2014, they were finalists at the Pink Music Festival, where their performance of “Pusti ritam” earned recognition from the jury for outstanding lyrics and arrangement.
Tropico Band remains extremely popular across the former Yugoslavia—from large concert venues in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš to smaller clubs and local festivals, where they captivate audiences with direct interaction and professional execution. Over the years, their sound has become synonymous with modern Serbian pop-folk, known for its emotional resonance, melodic strength, and contemporary production.
