A Spectacular Tribute to Michael Jackson Is Coming to Arena Zagreb
This Is Michael will make its Croatian debut on 15 April 2027. The major international production will bring Michael Jackson’s greatest hits and iconic performances to audiences of all generations at Arena Zagreb. Having sold more than 500,000 tickets and visited over 25 cities in 15 countries, the production will make its first appearance in Croatia and the wider region. The show offers more than two hours of music, dance and spectacular production dedicated to Michael Jackson, one of the greatest artists in the history of pop music. This Is Michael is more than just a concert. It is a major international production combining live music, original choreography, elaborate sets, costumes and state-of-the-art visual effects.
The two-hour programme features more than 20 of Jackson’s greatest hits, including Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, Black or White and Man in the Mirror. One of the show’s defining features is that it is performed entirely live. Every vocal, guitar solo and musical arrangement is performed by a full band on stage. The production brings together more than ten musicians, dancers and other performers, while the show also features over ten costume changes.
Jackson’s Guitarist Jennifer Batten Takes the Stage
Jennifer Batten performed alongside Michael Jackson for nearly a decade on his Bad, Dangerous and HIStory world tours. Between 1987 and 1997, she travelled the world with Jackson and performed in front of millions of fans. Alongside her work with Jackson, she also built a successful solo career and recorded and performed with some of the biggest names in music. Bassist Don Boyette, who also performed with Michael Jackson, will join the show in Zagreb. Additional special guests for the Zagreb concert will be announced at a later date.
Lenny Jay as Michael Jackson
