Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner - Sting in "real" life - was born in 1951 in England. In 1977 he founded with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers "The Police" and their success was unstoppable. Sting sang and played bass, until the provisional separation in 1986. He continued into a solo career. Twelve studio albums, several platinum and gold awards, notable collaborations and sold out tours speak for themselves. 2007, there was the official reunion of "The Police", the solo career, however, did not stand still. In 2010 he released his last studio album to date "Symphonicities", but Sting is also touring relentlessly through the world. Will he make it once again to Austria?
