The Škofja Loka Passion Play returns to the streets of the medieval town, this time for the first time as part of UNESCO heritage. A good quarter of a century after its first modern staging and based on the 300-year-old manuscript by Father Romuald, you are invited to immerse yourself in the heart of Christian and cultural tradition through the expressive power of the Baroque. On stages that majestically move through the medieval streets of Škofja Loka, a unique performance will unfold, revealing the timeless struggle between evil and love.

Meine Gäste und ich waren restlos begeistert von der Passion, von der art der Darbietung , den überzeugenden Darstellern und der guten Organisation vor Ort. Im besonderen möchte ich die gesangliche Leistung des kleinen Engels hervorheben, welcher in der Szene Pieta gesungen hat.
Ein großartiges Ereignis, welches uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
