Silente emerged on the wider music scene in 2013 with their debut single Terca na tišinu and the album Lovac na čudesa. Two years later, they released the album Neće rijeka zrakom teći, and in 2018 they announced their return to live performances along with their third studio album, titled Malo magle, malo mjesečine.
All songs by Silente are written by brothers Tibor and Sanin Karamehmedović. The band’s permanent lineup also includes drummer Ivuša Gojan, vocalist Lara Viktorija Ilić, and violinist Ivana Čuljak. Over the course of their career, the band has performed numerous concerts and received several awards for their work, including the Croatian discography award Porin. Silente currently lives and works in Dubrovnik.
On June 10, 2022, the band released their fourth studio album, IV. It features ten new songs, including the singles Mene moje uši lažu, Nikada ovako, Poljubi me za kraj, and Idi. Their most recent release is the single BOG KAKVOG TREBAM, released in October 2025.
