Scorpions

Scorpions are a legendary German hard rock band, formed in 1965 in Hanover, and this year they are celebrating an astounding 60 years of activity. The core lineup today consists of Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Paweł Mąciwoda, and Mikkey Dee. With their distinctive blend of powerful riffs and iconic ballads, Scorpions have influenced generations of listeners.
The German postal service paid special tribute to the band by issuing a limited series of stamps featuring Scorpions iconography and handwritten lyrics of their most famous songs.
A biographical film titled Wind of Change is also in development, portraying the band’s story during the Cold War era; starring Dominic West, Alexander Dreymon, Ludwig Trepte, and Ed Speleers.
