The wait is finally over! The Ana Maria Mitić Trio brings you an evening of chansons, blending songs that tell a story, music full of character and that little spark that makes a good chanson feel wonderfully familiar.
Audiences know Ana Maria Mitić as an actress, singer, pianist, writer and gifted storyteller. This time, she joins two outstanding musicians, Žiga Vehovec (piano, accordion) and Ilja Pušnik (double bass), for an evening in which every song becomes a story, a memory or, sometimes, a smile.
The programme features original chansons, jazz standards and selected arrangements of Slovenian songs – music that needs no grand effects, with plenty of character of its own.
The Ana Maria Mitić Trio also gained recognition for its distinctive original work at the 2025 Slovenian Chanson Festival, where it was among the finalists.
