Natasha Anne Bedingfield is a British and New Zealand singer who rose to international fame with her debut album Unwritten (2004). Marked by energetic pop sound and influences of R&B, the album produced hits such as “Unwritten” and “These Words” and sold over 2.3 million copies worldwide. She received a Grammy nomination for the title track and was twice nominated for Best British Female Artist at the Brit Awards.
Her second album N.B. (2007) included the successful singles “I Wanna Have Your Babies” and “Soulmate”, while in North America a reworked edition titled Pocketful of Sunshine (2008) gained major popularity with the hit of the same name. She released her third album Strip Me in 2010. Over the course of her career, Bedingfield has sold more than 20 million records worldwide, and in 2012 VH1 ranked her among the 100 Greatest Women in Music.
