PLUS ULTRA! MY HERO ACADEMIA IN CONCERT CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF SUCCESS WITH A MAJOR EUROPEAN TOUR
My Hero Academia
TOHO Co., Ltd., GEA Live, RBK Fusion and RoadCo Entertainment announce My Hero Academia in Concert, a new live music experience coming to Europe in 2026, including stops in Germany and Austria. In Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin, the concert will bring the power, emotion, and iconic music of the celebrated superhero anime to the stage for the first time in an electrifying live format, creating a standout highlight in the franchise’s anniversary year.
The most memorable moments of the series will be shown on a giant screen, perfectly synchronized with a world-class live ensemble. The electrifying score by composer Yuki Hayashi will come to life, featuring fan favorites such as You Say Run and You Can Be a Hero.
My Hero Academia in Concert is based on the hit manga by Kōhei Horikoshi, which has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, grossed over $130 million at the box office, and built a global fanbase of more than 4.3 million followers on social media. The concert series will premiere on May 30, 2026 at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan before heading to the United States and Europe in the fall. Music and visuals will merge into an emotional live experience that re-creates the triumphs, conflicts, and defining moments of the series from the past ten years.
“Bringing this music to the stage live changes the way audiences experience the series,” says Floris Douwes, Producer and Managing Director at GEA Live. “Hayashi’s compositions don’t just accompany the story. They drive the emotions and intensify every single moment of the show.”
The concert is both a tribute to long-time fans and an invitation to new audiences.
“We are thrilled to bring the world of My Hero Academia to life in a completely new way,” adds a spokesperson for TOHO. “This concert gives fans the chance to experience the music, action, and heart of the series live and creates unforgettable moments for audiences around the world.”
Ten years after the anime debuted in April 2016, My Hero Academia reaches a major milestone in 2026. Alongside an official anniversary logo, a special teaser visual, and the announcement of a new extra episode, the global concert tour marks another highlight of this celebratory year.
The story takes place in a world where most people possess superpowers known as “Quirks.” At its center is Izuku Midoriya, who is born without powers but dreams of becoming a hero like his idol All Might. After inheriting his Quirk and being accepted into the prestigious U.A. High School, his journey begins, shaped by training, responsibility, and the ongoing battle between heroes and villains.
