Mötley Crüe, the legendary American glam metal veterans from Hollywood, are transforming their wild story, which began in 1981, into the status of musical icons. With over 100 million albums sold, seven platinum records, and timeless rock anthems, they laid the foundation for the glam rock spectacle — fire, theatricality, and raw swagger.
In 2025, they celebrate the 60th anniversary of their founding with an extensive world tour titled Coming Home – 60th Anniversary, including a Las Vegas residency (from September to November), shows in Europe (Paris, Accor Arena; Rock Imperium in Spain; Hannover), and a festival appearance at Rock the Tides in Mexico. The concert in Hannover at the end of May was recorded and will be released as a live album Coming Home Live (November 2025).
At the same time, the band released the compilation From the Beginning (September 12, 2025), which includes a reimagined version of the classic Home Sweet Home in collaboration with Dolly Parton — marking the 40th anniversary of the Theatre of Pain album. The project also has a charitable aspect, with a portion of the proceeds going to Covenant House, an organization that supports homeless youth.
After the retirement of longtime guitarist Mick Mars (2022), his place was taken by John 5, known for his technical precision and loyalty to the band’s classic sound. The original trio — Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, and Tommy Lee — continue to maintain their explosive stage presence, remaining synonymous with glam metal.
The planned residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM (Las Vegas), originally scheduled for March, was postponed to September 12 – October 3, 2025, due to an emergency medical procedure for Vince Neil. Tickets remain valid, and part of the revenue will be donated to homeless youth in Nevada.
Mötley Crüe, even after six decades, remain a symbol of untamed rock energy — uncompromising, theatrical, and unapologetically true to themselves.
