Modrijani

Modrijani are one of the most popular and successful folk-pop (narodno-zabavna) music groups in Slovenia, known for their energetic performances, catchy melodies, and genuine connection with audiences of all generations. The group was founded in 2000 and hails from the area around Slovenske Konjice. The members are Blaž Švab, Rok Švab, Peter Oset, and Blaž Rola. Their music is rooted in traditional Slovenian folk music, enriched with modern arrangements and melodic appeal, making them beloved both by fans of classic accordion tunes and younger audiences. Songs such as “Ti moja rožica,” “Moja,” “Povej,” and “Hočem le tebe” have become major hits, recognized by nearly every Slovenian. Modrijani are also known for organizing large-scale concert events, especially their annual festival Noč Modrijanov (“Night of the Modrijani”), which attracts thousands of visitors each year. In addition to concerts, they frequently appear on television shows and participate in humanitarian initiatives.
