Machine Head, founded in 1991 under the leadership of Robb Flynn, are regarded as one of the most influential and powerful forces in modern metal. Their 1994 debut Burn My Eyes shook the world, setting new standards of heaviness with its blend of brutal riffs, aggressive rhythms, and a wide range of influences. Over the past three decades, they have built an impressive catalogue of albums — with The Blackening (2007) standing out in particular — and earned a reputation as one of the most relentless live bands on the planet.
In 2022, they returned with Of Kingdom And Crown, a conceptual, diverse, and exceptionally heavy album inspired by the anime Attack on Titan.
