Luka Šulić is a Slovenian cellist, born in Maribor in 1987, who has captivated audiences around the world with his exceptional musical talent. He rose to international prominence as a member of the successful duo 2Cellos, in which he and Stjepan Hauser combined classical music with rock, pop and film soundtracks. They achieved their international breakthrough in 2011 with their virtuoso arrangement of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal.
Alongside his work with 2Cellos, Luka Šulić has also pursued a solo career, combining classical traditions with contemporary musical approaches. In 2019, he released the album The Four Seasons, featuring his cello arrangement of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. In 2024, he followed it with the album LIFE, which features his original compositions and arrangements. His performances captivate audiences with their virtuosity, emotional depth and the unique sound of the cello.
