Lindsey Stirling (born September 21, 1986, in Santa Ana, California) is an American violinist, dancer, and singer-songwriter who gained global recognition for her unique fusion of classical violin, electronic music, and intricately choreographed performances—first through YouTube, and later on international concert stages.
She studied classical violin but soon realized that strict classical frameworks were too limiting. She began combining violin performance with contemporary dance and electronic production, first gaining broader exposure in 2010 on America’s Got Talent.
Her early albums, such as Lindsey Stirling (2012), Shatter Me (2014), and Artemis (2019), ranked high on the Billboard charts and brought her widespread international recognition and millions of streams.
In 2024, she released the album Duality, marking a new creative chapter. Early singles such as “Eye of the Untold Her,” “Inner Gold” (featuring Royal & The Serpent), and “Evil Twin” reflect an artistically expansive yet accessible production style. The album is supported by the large-scale Duality Tour across the U.S. and Europe—a dynamic blend of live band, visual storytelling, and choreography characteristic of her performances.
