Lake Street Dive

Lake Street Dive are known for their distinctive, genre-blending sound that combines elements of soul, folk, jazz, and classic pop, as well as for their energetic live performances that create a strong connection with the audience. Their album Good Together is rooted in the idea of “joyful rebellion,” addressing modern challenges such as technological alienation and social division, while encouraging people to consciously cultivate joy as a source of inner strength even in difficult times.

During the creation of the album, the band collaborated closely from the very earliest stages of songwriting for the first time, even using a 20-sided die to determine musical elements of individual tracks. This approach led them into new creative directions and deepened their sense of connection. The result is a diverse and emotionally rich album that weaves together personal stories, social themes, and a wide range of musical influences, while maintaining the band’s core values: togetherness, mutual support, and shared creativity.
