Lagwagon is a legendary punk rock band from California, formed in 1990, known for their fast-paced music, melodic riffs, and witty yet often deeply personal lyrics.
The band rose to prominence with the album Trashed (1994), followed by the cult classic Hoss (1995), which is considered one of the key releases of the 1990s American punk scene.
After a brief hiatus in the early 2000s, Lagwagon returned with strong releases like Resolve (2005), dedicated to their late drummer Derrick Plourde, which significantly deepened the emotional resonance of their music.
Their latest album, Railer (2019), brings fresh energy while staying true to Lagwagon’s traditional sound.
Interestingly, Lagwagon was one of the first bands to sign with the influential label Fat Wreck Chords, greatly contributing to the punk rock boom of the 1990s.
