Kreator

Kreator is a German thrash metal band formed in 1982 in Essen by Mille Petrozza (vocals, guitar), Jürgen “Ventor” Reil (drums), and Rob Fioretti (bass). The group is considered one of the most influential European metal bands and part of the “Big Four of German thrash”, alongside Sodom, Destruction, and Tankard.

Their style combines aggressive thrash metal with melodic and death metal influences, while their lyrics often explore themes of war, social injustice, and inner conflict. Albums such as Pleasure to Kill (1986), Extreme Aggression (1989), and Coma of Souls (1990) are regarded as genre classics.

In recent years, records like Phantom Antichrist (2012) and Hate Über Alles (2022) have shown that the band remains both powerful and relevant after decades of activity. Today, Kreator is recognized as an icon of European metal, renowned for their intense live performances and socially conscious messages.
