In honour of our 17th anniversary, we’ll be doing what we do best – listening to good music, catching up with familiar faces and making new friends, and dancing the night away. This year, our masters of ceremonies will be a pair of bands putting their members’ masterful musicianship to work crafting cerebral, yet accessible and irresistibly groovy music, both with new music in tow.
FOR FANS OF: The Comet Is Coming, Altin Gün, The Ex …
Founded two decades ago, the dozen-headed Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp is an ever-evolving international ensemble that draws inspiration from legendary 20th-century African groups and the avant-garde spirit of artist Marcel Duchamp. Having previously brought their expansive, joyful approach to live performance to our venue, they’re returning with their sixth studio album, Ventre Unique, released in 2024 on Bongo Joe Records.

Showcasing the ensemble’s dynamic blend of folk, krautrock, post-punk, and African rhythms, as well as the musicians’ mastery of a range of instruments, the album is possessed of a sound that’s both organic and rhythmically complex, with the members’ vocals enhancing the music's ritualistic power. Shifting from the pandemic-era anxieties of their previous releases, Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp guide listeners toward a more hopeful exploration of human commonality and shared dreams with the help of deep, loping grooves, angular guitar riffs, dissonant textures, and, above all, unity through dance.

Since forming in 2019, Slovenian audio-visual trio Etceteral have grown into one of the most respected local acts, finding a home at the acclaimed Glitterbeat label, playing prestigious festivals at home and abroad, and winning critical plaudits. They’re returning to Šiška with their 2025 album, Kimatika, a visceral plunge into futuristic jazz and motoric propulsion, crafting an arresting tapestry where a growling baritone sax weaves through pulsating electronics and restless drums, evoking the gritty energy of space travel and urban traffic.

While their earlier work embraced free-form improvisation, these new pieces offer a layered, shoegaze-inspired texture where the saxophone emerges like a ghostly vocal. Visual artist Lina Rica completes the trio, providing an immersive aesthetic dimension that responds to the band's urgent, melodic riffs in real time, while the rhythm section ensures that even the most complex polyrhythms maintain a danceable, techno-infused momentum. Etceteral delivers a technical tour de force that challenges the audience to leave the past behind and embrace a radically different sonic future.
