A multi-generational institution of Slovenian pop-rock that remains true to its core across different eras: sincere emotions and catchy tunes.
With fresh energy and countless hits etched forever into our collective memory, Tabu still shine brightest on stage, where nostalgia meets freshness and every verse is sung along by the crowd as one.
The CikCak concert series is an educational concert programme that places live music within the broader context of understanding the cultural and creative sectors.
The project provides children and adolescents with an initial and in-depth encounter with concerts by renowned acts at time slots tailored to their daily lives, while maintaining a high level of artistic and production quality. The project is rooted in the awareness that audience development is one of the fundamental, yet often overlooked, tasks of the cultural sphere. It is during the primary school years that attitudes towards art and shared experiences are formed.
The aim of the series is to provide young people with a high-quality, comprehensible, and accessible live music experience. At the same time, it introduces them to the wider context of creating cultural events and encourages an understanding of music as a process created through the collaboration of artists, technical crews, and organisers.
The project is designed for children and primary school pupils (grades 1–9), as this is a developmental period in which interests, values, and attitudes towards culture are intensively formed. During these years, children transition from guided consumption of cultural content to independently expressing opinions, choosing content, and shaping their own tastes.
The series is designed to enable participation through both organised school visits (emphasising links with formal education) and individual visits accompanied by family members, where the focus is on informal learning and a shared cultural experience.
