Karol Sevilla

Karol Sevilla, born on November 9, 1999, in Mexico City, is a Mexican actress, singer, and songwriter best known for her role as Luna Valente in the Disney Channel series Soy Luna. She began her career at the age of six, appearing in television commercials and later acting in popular Mexican telenovelas such as La rosa de Guadalupe, Amorcito corazón, and Como dice el dicho. She studied performing arts at CEA Infantil, Televisa’s child acting school, from 2006 to 2008. From 2016 to 2018, Karol starred in Soy Luna, a role that brought her international fame. The show’s success led to several live tours across Latin America and Europe, including Soy Luna en Concierto, Soy Luna Live, and Soy Luna en Vivo. After the series ended, she continued her career with the lead role in the Disney+ series Siempre fui yo and released music, including singles like "A Bailar," "Mil Besos por Segundo," and "Vuélveme a Mirar Así." In 2024, Karol launched her second solo tour, the Luminova Tour, featuring songs from her debut studio album and a tribute to her character Luna Valente. The tour began on October 29, 2024, in Mexico City after being postponed due to an injury. That same year, she also made her film debut in Casi el paraíso, playing the role of Teresa Rondie. Karol Sevilla remains a prominent figure in the entertainment world, admired for her versatility and artistic dedication.
