A double bill of improv
This time, Juš Milčinski, Vid Sodnik and Peter Frankl will be joined by one of the finest improvisers from across the Atlantic, Christian Capozzoli, for an improv show performed in English!
Christian Capozzoli is an American improviser, actor and author, as well as one of the most renowned teachers of contemporary improvisation. For more than two decades, he has performed and taught at venues including UCB, Magnet Theater and The Groundlings, and appeared at more than 50 improv festivals around the world. He has also worked with artists such as Stephen Colbert, Lena Dunham and Adam Sandler. Together with the IGLU Trio, he will create an unforgettable spontaneous show!
Before that, the stage will be warmed up by Happy, Healthy, Hairy! This experienced group of improv students is refreshing its line-up this year and welcoming several new faces to the stage. With their new mentors, Katarina Veselko and Vid Sodnik, they will explore emotions – from their psychological roots to ways of convincingly expressing them through character, body and scene. The performance will therefore be filled with powerful emotions, unexpected reactions and relationships created on the spot. No therapy, but plenty of emotional material for great improv.
