An improvised biography and a true improv documentary!
The biographies of famous artists, scientists, politicians and athletes are often even more fascinating than literary or cinematic fiction. But what happens when biography and imagination come together? That is exactly what the improv treat BIO brings to the stage!
In the performance, we will discover the life story of an unknown hero, defined by four audience suggestions: a first name, surname, location and passion. We will journey through their life and discover why the world should know their story!
BIO is a hit show by the French collective EUX, Compagnie d’Improvisation, which has been performed more than 1,000 times in Paris! We are delighted that our collaboration with their theatre is bringing this wonderful production to Ljubljana!
To warm up the stage, the advanced improv student group Sendvič invites you to a special documentary-style performance created live before your eyes. Through interviews, stories and scenes, the performers will create a world filled with characters, relationships and secrets – as if you were watching a real documentary. A single audience suggestion will inspire a story revealing an entire community, its heroes and their truths!
