Gramatik (Denis Jašarević) is a Slovenian electronic music producer currently based in New York. He began producing hip-hop at the age of 13 on his home computer, and achieved his breakthrough through the platform Beatport, where he built a strong following in the United States and Europe. In 2008, he released his debut album Expedition 44 as well as Street Bangerz Vol. 1, which charted for several months on Beatport’s Chill Out chart.
He was the first artist to join the Pretty Lights Music label, where he advocated for the idea of free access to music and digital freedom. In 2013, he founded his own label, Lowtemp Recordings, under which he reissued his earlier albums.
I attended Gramatik concert more than 10 years ago (different venue) and it was great. His music at the time was different - more melodic, diverse, unique and memorable. This event disappointed - I do not know most of the songs he played, but they all sounded the same, hard, repetitive beats over and over again. The guitarist that he brought with him only marginally improved the experience. I missed older, rhythmic music that he is known for.

After ten years, I finally danced my heart out! The music was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, the crowd was friendly and respectful, the venue was nicely air-conditioned, and we even got free T-shirts. It was absolutely awesome!
