Five Finger Death Punch

Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP) are an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, formed in 2005. They are known for their aggressive yet melodic sound that combines groove metal, hard rock, and modern heavy metal. Their name comes from a classic kung-fu movie and reflects the striking energy of their music.

Their first major success came with the album The Way of the Fist (2007), followed by even greater popularity with War Is the Answer (2009), which included hits like Bad Company (a cover of the band Bad Company) and Far from Home. With albums such as American Capitalist (2011), The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell (2013), and Got Your Six (2015), they established themselves as one of the most successful metal bands.

Their lyrics often deal with personal struggles, military themes, and social criticism, which has made them especially popular among members of the U.S. armed forces.
