Summer will be all about top-tier basketball, as Ljubljana becomes the home of future European and global stars for nine days. Ticket sales for the group stage of the U20 EuroBasket 2026 have officially begun. The championship will take place at Stožice Arena between July 11 and 19.
Europe’s most talented young basketball players will compete in the Slovenian capital for the title of European champions, while fans will have the chance to watch up close the players who are set to shape the biggest European leagues, the EuroLeague, and NBA courts in the years to come.
Both the main and secondary halls of Stožice Arena will host the entire tournament, meaning Ljubljana will live and breathe basketball from morning until night throughout the championship. One city, one venue complex, and one of the biggest sporting events of the upcoming summer. U20 EuroBasket 2026 tips off in Stožice in exactly two months, and basketball fans can already secure their tickets for the group stage games.
Tickets for the group stage matches, taking place between July 11 and 13, are already on sale, with prices starting at €15. The biggest basketball enthusiasts can also purchase a full-day ticket for both arenas for €29, allowing them to watch multiple games featuring Europe’s best young national teams in a single day.
Slovenia will open the tournament in Group D, where they will face the Czech Republic, Israel, and Romania. The young Slovenians will begin their campaign against the Czech Republic, followed by a clash with Israel, before concluding the group stage against Romania.
The remaining groups are equally strong. Group A features Italy, Türkiye, France, and Germany, while Group B includes Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. In Group C, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, and Spain will battle for a place in the knockout stage.
