Empire of the Sun return to Europe this summer with the ASK THAT GOD TOUR 2026
Australian electronic icons Empire of the Sun return to Europe and the United Kingdom this May as part of their Ask That God Tour 2026, inviting audiences to experience their legendary live performances across more than 20 dates. On this extensive tour, the multi-platinum-selling duo will revisit countries that were already part of their highly anticipated 2025 European tour, which marked their first European shows in six years, while also bringing their spectacular live production to Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, and several other countries for the first time.
With a discography spanning four acclaimed studio albums, billions of global streams, and a series of notable remixes and reinterpretations, including their recent EP Alive (Reimagined), Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore continue to push sonic boundaries while building a fully immersive world uniquely their own. Their long-awaited 2024 album Ask That God marked a new era for the duo. It was their first studio album in eight years and blends existential themes with their unmistakable, imaginative, and subtly nostalgic synth-pop sound. Featuring fan favorites such as “Changes”, “Cherry Blossom”, and “Music On The Radio”, the album has surpassed 500 million streams worldwide and has captivated listeners and live audiences across the globe.
Their live performances consistently blur the line between fantasy and reality, transporting audiences into a kaleidoscopic universe of spectacular visuals, theatrical staging, and production on an epic scale. The Ask That God Tour 2025 became a global milestone, selling out headline shows throughout North America and Europe while showcasing the most ambitious live production of the band’s career to date. In North America, the tour drew fans to major cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Denver, and Berkeley, and featured a sold-out performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, alongside festival appearances at Austin City Limits, CRSSD, and Just Like Heaven. Empire of the Sun continued this momentum in Europe with sold-out shows in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona, and Lisbon, including a rapidly sold-out performance at London’s Old Royal Naval College, as well as appearances on some of the continent’s biggest summer festival stages. The tour also extended to South America, where the band performed at renowned festivals such as Lollapalooza Brasil in São Paulo and Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá. These achievements once again underscored Empire of the Sun’s enduring global appeal and their status as one of the most visually and sonically distinctive live acts in the world.
Alongside timeless hits like “Walking On A Dream”, “We Are The People”, “Alive”, and “High and Low”, as well as songs from their latest album Ask That God, fans can look forward to an immersive and unforgettable live experience on Empire of the Sun’s European tour.
