Disclosure are a British electronic music duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence from Reigate, Surrey. Active since 2010, they have become one of the most influential forces in contemporary electronic music through their unique fusion of deep house, UK garage, and soul. Their breakthrough came with the debut album Settle (2013), following the success of hit singles "Latch" (featuring Sam Smith) and "F for You" (with Mary J. Blige). They continued with the Grammy-nominated albums Caracal (2015) and Energy (2020), both receiving critical and commercial acclaim.
In 2023, the duo shifted to independent production with the release of Alchemy — their first project without guest features or samples. The album showcases original vocal and instrumental arrangements, reflecting their full creative freedom after parting ways with a major label. Highlights include the Grammy-nominated single "She's Gone, Dance On", as well as the genre-defying tracks "King Steps" (with Pa Salieu) and "Arachnids", which push the boundaries of electronic sound.
Disclosure's live shows blend DJ sets with hybrid performances that feature extended live instrumentation, immersive visual production, and a distinct atmosphere. Their set at Glastonbury drew widespread praise, particularly for a powerful live rendition of “Latch.”
Today, Disclosure remain one of the few electronic acts to transcend the club scene while continuing to be innovative, artistically bold, and globally influential.
