“The European Return Tour 2026”
Although City Of The Sun call Brooklyn, New York, home, their genre-defying music knows no boundaries. Their sound travels effortlessly across continents, blending influences from indie rock, Latin folk, blues and world music into a rich mosaic of stories, memories and atmospheres.
Founded by guitarist John Pita and joined by drummer Zach Para and musicians Matt Fasano and Marco Bolfelli, the band creates music that feels both intimate and cinematic. From their debut album To The Sun And All The Cities In Between (2016) and their self-titled album City Of The Sun (2020) to Segunda Alma (2022), the band has built a loyal following around the world.
As their profile has grown, City Of The Sun have toured alongside artists such as Peter Bjorn and John and Thievery Corporation. Their atmospheric compositions evoke the warmth of Mediterranean summers, the vastness of desert landscapes and the glow of urban nights. From London and Paris to Athens, the band regularly captivates audiences in sold-out clubs and concert halls.
With their new album Under The Moon (2026), City Of The Sun embark on another chapter of their musical journey. The album brings together a wide range of moods and influences, from surf rock and desert rock to Mediterranean sounds. Along the way, it explores themes of loss, change, hope and new beginnings. What City Of The Sun have created is far more than instrumental music: it is a universal language that connects people around the world. Under The Moon looks both back and ahead, reflecting on the band’s journey so far while turning its gaze towards what comes next.
In late summer, City Of The Sun will bring their music to Vienna’s B72 for a special live performance.
