Buba Corelli

Buba Corelli, born Amar Hodžić on September 22, 1989, in Sarajevo, is one of the most influential Bosnian hip-hop artists and producers in the region. He began his music career with the group G-Recordz and gained broader recognition through his collaboration with Jala Brat, with whom he released the album Pakt s Đavolom in 2014. Their partnership produced numerous hits, including "Bez tebe," "22," and "Trinidad i Tobago." Buba Corelli is known for his ability to blend traditional Bosnian musical elements with modern hip-hop beats, creating a unique sound that has gained popularity across Europe. In addition to his solo career, he is also a successful producer and has worked with prominent regional artists such as Maya Berović, Milan Stanković, and Severina. In 2015, he was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and was sentenced to one year in prison. Despite this, after serving his sentence, he resumed his music career and, together with Jala Brat, founded the record label Imperia, which supports numerous emerging talents in the region.
