Boris Novković (born December 25, 1967 in Sarajevo) is a Croatian singer and songwriter who has been crafting a recognizable blend of pop-rock and emotional ballads for more than three decades.
He began his musical career in 1986 with the album Kuda idu izgubljene djevojke, whose title track Tamara quickly became a radio hit and sold over 120,000 copies. His next album Jači od sudbine (1987) marked his biggest commercial success with 160,000 copies sold.
During the 1980s and 1990s, he established himself with albums like Dok svira radio (1988) and Obojeni snovi (1989), which produced timeless hits such as Dok svira radio and Da te nisam ljubio. He became one of the key musicians of the then-Yugoslav pop-rock scene.
In 2005, he won the Croatian national selection Dora and represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Vukovi umiru sami. He placed 4th in the semifinal with 169 points and 11th in the final. In 2006, he also contributed as a songwriter to the Eurovision entry Moja štikla, performed by Severina.
Throughout his career, he has released over ten studio albums and received numerous accolades, including the Porin award, the Zlatna ptica (1999), and the Kristalna gitara (2002), awarded for more than 500,000 records sold between 1986 and 2002.
His latest album Zbog nas was released on June 10, 2025, by Croatia Records and includes nine tracks, with Kad on te ostavi and Zbog nas standing out. The new album combines emotional depth with modern production, earning praise from both fans and music critics.
