Kranjska Gora 2026: Power for Women, Unstoppable Party
Kranjska Gora will once again become the heart of alpine skiing on 3–4 January 2026. On the legendary Podkoren slope, the world’s top female skiers will compete in giant slalom and slalom, while fans can look forward to a top-level sporting spectacle paired with unforgettable entertainment.

Races that unite the power for woman and the passion of fans
The slopes beneath Slovenia’s most beautiful peaks have witnessed the brilliance of ski legends such as Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhová, and Wendy Holdener. In recent seasons, homegrown heroes Ana Bucik Jogan, Andreja Slokar, and Neja Dvornik have stepped into the spotlight.
Slokar and Dvornik both finished in the top ten last season, which is why they deserve loud, strong home-crowd support to help them reach the podium. Let’s fill the finish-area grandstands and create the electric atmosphere that only Kranjska Gora knows.
Last season, over 10,000 ski fans came to Kranjska Gora. They witnessed Sara Hector’s giant-slalom victory and an electrifying slalom win by Zrinka Ljutić, which set off true euphoria among Croatian supporters. Once again, Kranjska Gora will be a venue where sport transcends borders — not just a top-tier competition, but also a celebration of Slovenian skiing heritage, tradition, and national pride.
More than sport
On Saturday, 3 January, between the two giant-slalom runs, spectators will enjoy a vibrant DJ-driven music show. The day continues with an evening awards ceremony, start-number draw for Sunday’s slalom, and a live concert on the Winners’ Square in Kranjska Gora.
Sunday, 4 January brings adrenaline-packed slalom action, with DJ music, a children’s corner, and VIP experiences.
This Kranjska Gora weekend also pays tribute to the power of women. Beyond the athletes conquering the slopes, inspiring Slovenian women — athletes, entrepreneurs, and artists — will shine off the snow as well, showing how female energy unites, inspires, and brings special strength to the sporting and fan experience.
The finish-area arena will transform into a true open-air winter club — with drinks, music, and partner activations — creating an atmosphere unlike any other World Cup race.
