Alter Bridge is an American rock band that has been creating music since 2004, known for their distinctive style—passionate guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and the dynamic interplay between Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti’s guitars. Alongside Kennedy and Tremonti, the band also includes bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. Over the past two decades, they have established themselves as one of the most influential forces in modern hard rock.
In 2022, they released their seventh studio album, Pawns & Kings, which received critical acclaim and was voted the second-best guitar album of the year by Guitar World readers. Now, they are set to release their eighth studio album, self-titled Alter Bridge, due out on January 9, 2026, via Napalm Records. The album was recorded in the spring of 2025 at 5150 Studios in California and Barbarosa Studios in Florida, produced by their longtime collaborator Michael "Elvis" Baskette. It features 12 tracks, including Trust in Me and Tested and Able, showcasing shared vocals between Kennedy and Tremonti, as well as their longest song to date—the nearly ten-minute Slave to Master.
The album will be supported by an extensive European tour titled What Lies Within Tour, comprising 31 shows across Europe and the UK from January to March 2026.
In the meantime, the band members are also busy with their side projects—Myles Kennedy will be joining Wolfgang Van Halen on tour in the fall of 2025, while Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips are heading out on a European tour performing music from their former band, Creed.
