Aleksandra Radović

Aleksandra Radović (born September 10, 1974, in Bogatić near Šabac, Serbia) is one of the most recognized pop and R&B singers in the former Yugoslavia. With her powerful vocal presence, emotional interpretation, and refined musical aesthetic, she has, over more than two decades, become a synonym for quality pop music in the region.

She began her musical education in Šabac, attending a music high school, and later graduated in music pedagogy from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Her major breakthrough came in 2003, when she won second place at the Sunčane Skale festival with the song “Kao so u moru”, which led to the release of her debut album, Aleksandra Radović.

This was followed by successful albums: Dommino (2006), Žar ptica (2009), Carstvo (2016), and Predvorje života (2020), featuring hits such as “Još danas,” “Čuvam te,” “Bivši dragi,” “Ljubavi moja,” and “Mali peh.” Her third album, Žar ptica, became the second best-selling album in Serbia that year, and Aleksandra was the first female singer to sell out two consecutive nights at the Sava Centar in Belgrade.

In addition to her music career, she is also active as a vocal coach and mentor to young musical talents, especially in television shows such as Prvi glas Srbije, Pinkove Zvezde, and Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, where she often served as a jury member.

With her experience, sincerity, and technical perfection, Aleksandra Radović remains one of the most important vocalists on the contemporary Balkan pop scene.
