Her professional career began in 1997 at the Portorož festival. She was convinced to perform at the festival by the famous primorje composer Danilo Kocjančič, that had together with the text writer Drago Mislej – Mef and Marino Longič co-authored her song. At the festival she received “Most promising singer award” the team went to write her first album, which launched her career.
Since then she developed into an accomplished author with many original songs, albums, and tours and cooperated with names such as Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, Robert Plant the Italian singer Elise and others.
In 2014, she represented Slovenia at the Eurovision song contest with the song “Spet/Round And Round” after winning the Slovenian EMA.
