Nataša Bekvalac (born September 25, 1980, in Novi Sad, Serbia) is one of the most recognizable pop stars in the Balkans. She began her music career in 2001 with the album Ne brini, which brought her immediate popularity. This was followed by a string of successful albums, including Ništa lično (2002), Stereo ljubav (2004), Ne valjam (2010), and Original (2016), featuring hit songs such as Mali signali, Nikotin, Laži me, and Ludilo.
With the song Laži me, introduced at the Sunčane Skale festival, she captivated a wider audience with her distinctive voice, charismatic style, and emotional delivery. In 2020, she staged her first solo arena concert, S.O.S. za ljubav, at Belgrade Arena—a sold-out spectacle that confirmed her status as one of the region’s most powerful live performers.
Nataša has collaborated with many prominent regional artists, including Coby (Mala plava), Magla Bend (Neprijatelj), Rasta (Iz daleka), Emina Jahović, and Jelena Rozga, showcasing her creative range and broad appeal across the Balkans. She is a frequent headliner at major music festivals such as EXIT, Belgrade Beer Fest, and Novi Sad Music Fest, known for her high-energy performances and strong connection with the audience.
In addition to her music career, she has served as a judge on television talent shows such as Pinkove Zvezdice (2018) and IDJ Show (since 2023), where she supports and mentors emerging artists with her experience and expertise.
Beyond music, Nataša is an outspoken advocate for LGBT+ rights. In 2019, she was named Serbia’s Gay Icon, and in 2020, she became the godmother of Belgrade Pride, declaring that she does not identify solely as an ally, but as a member of the community herself.
