AMC Studio is thrilled to announce, after a long absence from European shores, one of the world’s most iconic bands, DURAN DURAN.

They will perform a very special live show in Križanke, Ljubljana, on Saturday, on July 14th  2012 at 21:00, in support of their latest album »All You Need Is Now« and of course they won’t forget their greatest hits.

This summer’s Duran Duran show will see the four original band members – John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes and Simon Le Bon - and guitarist Dom Brown, showcase songs from their most recent, critically-acclaimed Record, alongside their iconic hits of the 80s and 90s such as Girls On Film, Rio, Planet Earth, Hungry Like The Wolf, The Reflex, Notorious, Come Undone and Ordinary World.

The stats on Duran Duran are remarkable: a total of over 80 million records sold, 18 American hit singles, 30 chart-toppers in their UK home market, and a global presence that guarantees them huge concert audiences on five continents. More remarkable still is the way they have achieved this, fusing pop music with art, fashion and technology. When they first broke in the early 1980s, Duran Duran single-handedly transformed music videos from a gimmicky marketing tool into one of the music industry’s most valued assets. With exotic locations, beautiful girls and stunning special effects, Duran Duran took the visual imperatives of the New Romantic movement to another level, defining the MTV generation and building a loyal army of fans who have stayed with them to this day.

With their new album produced by the Grammy Award-winning producer and super-fan Mark Ronson and mixed by Spike Stent, the record is a return-to-roots homage to Duran Duran’s most celebrated musical panache. Ljubljano će posjetiti jedna od najpopularnijih ikonskih bendova na svijetu: DURAN DURAN. U Ljubljani će nastupiti u subotu, 14. srpnja 2012 u 21. sati. Predstavit će svoji najnoviji album All You Need Is Now, a neće zaboraviti i na svoje najveće hite.

 Duran Duran, „divlji momci“, ovog će se ljeta predstaviti u originalnom sastavu: John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes, Simon Le Bon i gitarist Dom Brown. Predstavit će pjesmi sa svojeg posljednjeg i sa strane kritičara odlično primljenog albuma, a neće zaboraviti ni na svoje najveće hitove: Girls On Film, Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, The Reflex, Notorious, Come Undone, Wild Boys, A View to a Kill i Ordinary World.

U svojoj dugogodišnjoj karijeri, DURAN DURAN je prodao više od 80 milijuna ploča, u SAD imalo je 18 velikih hitova, u domaćoj Velikoj Britaniji pa 30 najviše slušanih pjesmi.
