DIRE STRAITS LEGACY

MEMBERS OF THE ORIGINAL DIRE STRAITS BAND COME TO SLOVENIA - DIRE STRAITS LEGACY

The legendary Dire Straits Legacy is coming to Ljubljana on 30 August 2023. The band is made up of members of the original Dire Straits band, which has sold more than 120 million albums to date. The Slovenian audience will also have the opportunity to hear the original band live, reviving the iconic music that the members of the band performed with on the world's biggest stages 30 years ago. Visitors will be able to enjoy the greatest hits such as Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms and many more, performed by members of the original Dire Straits band.

The concert, organised by L56 together with Rock Radio, will take place on 30 August 2023 at the L56 Hall in Ljubljana.

MORE ABOUT THE BAND:

The band consists of original Dire Straits members Alan Clark, the first keyboardist of Dire Straits, Phil Palmer and Danny Cummings, who collaborated on the single On Every Street, Mel Collins, who made his mark on Love Over Gold and Twisting by the Pool, and Jack Sonni, who is best known as the second guitarist of Dire Straits during the success of Brothers in Arms.

Other members of the band include bassist Trevor Horn (The Buggles, Yes), one of the world's top music producers Primiano Di Biase and frontman Marco Caviglia, considered the world's leading expert on guitar playing in the unique style of Mark Knopfler.
