DadaDisko: Family RAVE
Children change your schedule. Not necessarily your taste in music.
On Saturday, 21 November, Kino Šiška’s Katedrala hall will become the biggest family dance floor. This is DadaDisko: a party for parents where the kids never get bored, and a party for kids where parents have just as much fun.
It’s 10 a.m. Your coffee is half-finished. The DJ is wide awake. Let’s go.
JAMirko and the All Around The House collective will get Katedrala moving, blurring the lines between DJing and dance and whipping the dance floor into a frenzy. Their electronic selection takes listeners of all ages seriously: little ones will discover their first favourite beats, while parents relive their partying days.
Somewhere along the way, DadaPles begins. A few moves from the stage, a few brave feet on the dance floor, and soon the whole of Katedrala is dancing. Overhead, visuals and lights dance, while clouds of bubbles float beneath the disco ball. Saturday afternoon glows in neon.
“DadaDisko means family fun, with boredom left at home. If they’re not embarrassed to dance with you, they’re just the right age,” say Maša and Vesna, the project’s creators.
When your feet need a break, the fun simply moves elsewhere. Alongside the dance floor, creative and discovery stations invite us to explore electronic sounds, create live video projections together, and play with light and shapes.
Glitter welcome. Fancy dress encouraged. We’ll bring the bubbles and lighting effects. 🪩
Accessibility for everyone: The dance floor is accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs. The creative stations include tactile and sound elements for blind and partially sighted visitors, and a quieter corner will offer a moment of sensory respite.
See you on the dance floor! The Radio Enter team will be joining us too.
